Starting Something New: Why I Finally Built This Blog
From tinkering with WordPress and Blogspot as a kid to finally setting up my own corner of the internet to share code snippets, cloud setups, and random thoughts.
So I finally decided to set up and publish a blog!
I have wanted to write online ever since I was a kid. Way back, I used to spin up random WordPress and Blogspot sites, posting journal entries or random things I found online, though none of them ever turned into consistent writing or a permanent home.
Now that I work as a software engineer and have spent years reading other developers’ blogs whenever I am debugging a tricky issue, I finally decided to start sharing my own findings out there. Sometimes that might be a small code snippet that just worked for me, or a new package I am trying out in a side project. Other times it will be movie reviews, travel stories, or random thoughts.
Over the next few months, I want to document some of the cloud infrastructure I have set up for my personal projects, open-source contributions, and public lessons I have picked up at work, alongside everyday things like credit card perks, travel points, or a great YouTube channel I just watched.
As for the name developerwho: I used to love watching Doctor Who back in high school and my early college days, and I have had the Instagram handle developer_who for as long as I can remember. So I figured it only made sense to keep the name and turn developerwho.com into my home on the web.
Here is to the start of something new! Please do check back. I will be posting more as I go, and probably bulk-importing a few older notes from my drafts folder too.
